Margaret River Horse & Pony Club was affiliated with Pony Club Australia in 1986 as Margaret River & Districts Horsmans Association and Pony Club Incorporated. However, it has a rich history of running events, rallies, and competitions before that affiliation.

Flash forward to now, we have three organizations that use our grounds; Pony Club, Adult Riders, and Horsepower.

Pony Club is for riders under the age of 25 with their own mounts. This membership allows riders to be covered by 24/7 insurance, have access to our grounds, and participate in rally days. Click here for more information on our Pony Club.

Adult Riders is open to all riders from newcomers to experienced competitors. Riders meet every Tuesday (except over the festive season) for dressage, flatwork, or showjumping lessons in the morning and a social catch up after the riding is done. The coaches are second to none and are excellent at including all riders - no matter their level. Whether you are a fun-time trail rider or a full-time dressage diva, everyone can benefit from improving their equitation and knowledge. For more information on Adult Riders, click here.

We are very blessed to also have a HorsePower operating at our grounds with a great team of local volunteers. HorsePower riding programs teach riders with diversabilities how to ride a horse. Structured programs conducted under the instruction of accredited HorsePower coaches with the assistance of trained volunteers and accredited horses provides individuals with both physical and emotional rewards. We have horses and ponies of all sizes, shapes, and colours which are loaned to the centre on days of operation. New volunteers and equines are always welcome! Horsepower offers therapeutic riding sessions fortnightly on Thursdays. Click here for more information.
